THE ROSES HERITAGE INN LTD POLICIES

DEPOSIT: No deposit required until further notice. Group bookings or multiple room bookings will have clearly defined prearranged deposit. This is normally 25%. We reserve the right to charge your card for the full booking within 7 days of your arrival. Once checked in we do not refund for shortening your trip unless we were able to rebook. We do have a waiting list system to assist avoiding charges for lifes changes.

CHECK-IN: Any time after 2:30 PM Check out is 10:30 AM. We facilitate early check-ins as possible and prior check-in baggage drops. If you booked online, you would need to know which property 9 or 11 Military Road or the Jellybean Inn on 18 Gower Street that you will be staying in and what the security code is for that check-in day. We endeavor to contact our guests prior to check in with this information a few days before arrival. Please contact us if for some reason you have not received this in your email confirmation.

BREAKFAST: We serve a delicious, hot breakfast every day in the high season at The Roses Heritage Inn which is from mid-April to mid-October. In the same period, at The Jellybean we offer a tasty, continental breakfast. No plastic! Jellybean’s guests are welcome to enjoy the Roses breakfast for $12pp. Please note there are several breakfast restaurants within walking distance of The Roses and the Jellybean Inn including Coffee Matters,2 doors down, and the Bagel Cafe, which is a short pleasant walk.

PARKING: Military Road is free to park on. It is also free to park along the black picket fence across the street on the gravel road. There is also very convenient parking at the St. Thomas' Church well-lit parking lot directly across the street. Currently you may purchase passes from their office for a cost of $5 a night, $60 a month. Their number is 709-576-6632. On Gower Street, there is free parking during the day and overnight.

PETS: Please call and inquire. Comfort Cove room is dog friendly but management woud like to approve the pet prior. In high season we regret we cannot accommodate pets.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 14 days' notice from April 15 to October 15th. Outside this period, cancellation is 7 days. On multiple room bookings, a non-refundable deposit may be required. We encourage you to obtain trip interruption insurance privately if you have concerns. Most major credit cards have trip interruption insurance. St. John's is remote and is subject to extreme weather that can restrict flights and ferries. The Roses cannot be responsible for missed reservations due to weather events or changed plans. During the pandemic if you cannot come in due to provincial restrictions, cancellation high or low season is 72 hours. We always do our best to replace bookings to avoid charging if you cancel without the required notice. We want you to love your experience!

ALLERGIES AND CLEANING: We care about your allergies. Most of our rooms have hardwood floors. We also have scent free detergents, hypo allergenic bedding and pillows. We have very thorough cleaners that take pride in their job. We really appreciate it if you remove your shoes and bring house shoes/slippers for everybody's enjoyment. The Roses Heritage Inn and the Jellybean Inn is pet-free and smoke-free.


CAR RENTAL: We are not affiliated with any car rental agencies but offer a “coupon code” for a discount for Roses and Jellybean Inn guests with Budget Rent a Car it is: U369346 Book directly with them at www.budget.ca or call 709-747-1234 (St. John’s Airport) or 1-800-268-8900
For Enterprise car rental the coupon code is XVC9000. They will come and pick you up at The Roses. This avoids the extra airport charges. You can drop it off at the airport then for your convenience. Please confirm in advance.

Damages and losses: The client would be responsible for any damages and missing items or extreme cleaning beyond reasonable use and wear and tear or defective workmanship while the suite is in your possession.
