Check-in: 2:00 PM in summer , 1:00 pm in winter. There are no restrictions as to when you arrive. Check out is 11:00 AM. We facilitate early check-ins as possible and prior check-in baggage drops. If you booked online you will need to know which house (9 or 11) that you will be staying in and what the security code is for that check-in day. We endeavor to contact our guests prior to check in with this information. Please contact us if for some reason you have not received this in your email confirmation.
We have permits for your use to park on Military road and neighbouring streets. A deposit is required to help remind you to not drive away with it. When you ultimately do, just can send it back and we will reverse the charge. There is also very convenient parking at the St. Thomas' Church well-lit parking lot directly across the street for only $10 per 24 hours.
Our cancellation policy is 30 days notice from June 1 to September 30th. Outside this period it is 1 week. On multiple room bookings, a deposit is required. Please call us to discuss.
St. John's is remote and is subject to extreme weather that can restrict flights and ferries. We recommend trip insurance which can be obtained privately. Most major credit cards have trip interruption insurance included. The Roses cannot be responsible for missed reservations due to weather events.
The Roses has hardwood floors so we recommend our guests bring house shoes or slippers for your comfort. We really appreciate if you remove your shoes for everybody's enjoyment.
No smoking or pets on the property is permitted.
